Music Djing & Music Production AcademyInfo Course Information![]() We hold a DJ Saturday Academy for 13-16 year olds at Nescot in Ewell, near Epsom. Our academies are fun and instructive Saturday courses that last four weeks. They start at 10am and finish at 1pm on consecutive Saturdays. Create it, Mix it, Record it! Turn up the volume on your creativity! Our 4-week Music Academy takes you from DJing and sampling to music production and a real studio recording session – even designing your own album artwork! Over the four-week Saturday Academy, students will explore a range of creative music skills. Week 1: The fundamentals of DJing, including beat-matching and mixing. Week 2: Introduces sampling, where they will experiment with sounds and create new ideas from existing material. Week 3: Focuses on essential music production skills, developing tracks using industry-standard software. Week 4: students will take part in a professional studio recording session and design their own album artwork, bringing together their musical and visual creativity.
The cost for all four weeks is £95.00.
Students are expected to arrive 15 minutes before the start time and to be picked up promptly at the end time. Students will need to provide proof of age on arrival.
