This course is for practicing electricans who have previously gained qualifications in Initial Verification, perhaps through a recognised apprenticeship and wish to expand their skills to include reporting on the condition of existing electrical installations.

This qualification is approved for candidates aged 18 or above.

This course is aimed at practicing electricians who have had some experience of testing and inspection since qualifying or who require training before going onto other City & Guilds qualifications.

This course ensures that you are up-to-date with the latest industry regulation on wiring and the safe installation of electrical equipment and systems. It covers the 18th Edition of the IET Wiring Regulations, which came into force in July 2018.
