As part of the Travel and Tourism course, students will have the opportunity to take part in a range of educational trips, enrichment activities, guest speaker sessions and workshops throughout the academic year.

These experiences form an important part of the course and are designed to complement classroom learning, develop practical knowledge and skills, and support students in meeting the learning outcomes across the year.

They provide students with valuable opportunities to gain first-hand experience of the travel and tourism industry, hear from industry professionals, explore different career pathways, and apply their classroom knowledge to real-world situations.

These activities can also help students develop confidence, communication, teamwork, employability, and independent learning skills, which are highly relevant to future study and employment within the sector.

To enable these experiences to take place, students will be required to pay a deposit in advance and the remaining balance in full by the specified payment deadlines.

Participation in these opportunities is therefore an integral part of the course, rather than an optional addition. Please note that payments and deposits are non-refundable.
