We hold a Babysitting and Childcare Saturday Academy for 13-16 year olds at Nescot in Ewell, near Epsom. Our academies are fun and instructive Saturday courses that last four weeks. They start at 10am and finish at 1pm on consecutive Saturdays.

This academy will give an introduction to childcare and babysitting covering:

Caring for babies and children in a babysitting environment.

Respecting and valuing children. 

Accident prevention and fire safety when babysitting.

There will also be practical sessions in our Nursery covering routines, sleep, healthy meals for young children and preparing activities for young children.

We’ll also be having sessions in our Health Hub including blood pressure, heart monitor, temperature, basic first aid and nutrition.

The cost for all four weeks is £95.00.

Students are expected to arrive 15 minutes before the start time and to be picked up promptly at the end time. Students will need to provide proof of age on arrival.

Refunds Policy

Please note that as our academies are in high demand we do not issue refunds once a course is booked. We are happy, however, to allow a student name change on the booking should a friend/relative wish to take the place instead or, in exceptional circumstances, we can transfer the place to the next round of Saturday Academies.
